Garden of Virtues - A Bahá'í Inspired School

Who are we?

We are a group of Bahá'í youth who believe that Spiritual Education of Children has a very important role to play in humanity's future. In fact, we believe that the Spiritual and Moral Education of our children is the only true and permanent solution to mankind's problems.

The Garden of Virtues Bahá'í Children's School is a socio-economic project that we have started in an attempt to address one of the major problems we see in society and the world today – that of a decline of people's fundamental awareness of their own spiritual nature.

At the heart of the Bahá'í Faith is the belief that all the major religions of the world draw and receive their inspiration and authority from One Eternal God who reveals Himself through different messengers at different times and in different places in humanity's history. We believe in the fundamental Oneness of God, the Oneness of Religion and the Oneness of mankind.

Although the classes are delivered from a Bahá'í perspective, they are not solely focused upon the Bahá'í Faith and cover all of the major world religions from a standpoint of unity and fellowship. We believe that fundamentally all the major religions are based upon the same eternal spiritual truths. To love your fellow man and treat him with kindness and respect, to recognize in yourself and in others the innate divine spiritual nature that makes us human and to foster a world of harmony and agreement in which people can grow up and live together in society's characterized by peace and unity.

Religion can truly be a powerful and positive force in the world and in our own individual lives, and we believe that despite its poor track record, this is in fact the main purpose animating all the major religions of the world… to bring individual men and mankind as a whole to a closer and more intimate understanding of our lives and existence and to help build a more noble and happier society.
As Bahá'u'llah, the Prophet founder of the Bahá'í Faith, said over 100 years ago,

"O ye children of men, the fundamental purpose animating the Faith of God and His Religion is to safeguard the interests and promote the unity of the human race... The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established.”

We believe that today more than ever, humanity is groaning under the need for spiritual education and we would like to offer our school to you and your children…
