The Bahá'í Faith in South Africa

Since 1911 the Bahá'í Faith has been present in South Africa. Today the Bahá'í Faith is recognised as the second most wide spead religion in the World. Since the Bahá'í Faith first came to the shores of South Africa, it has spead far and wide uniting the hearts of people from all races, creeds and walks of life. This is the purpose of the Bahá'í Faith; to teach everyone to be more accepting and to lose all predudices, creating peace and harmony throughout the world.

Since one of the basic and important principles laid down by Bahá'u'lláh is the independent investigation of the truth, anyone wishing to know more about the Bahá'í Faith and its teachings can attend discussion groups at various Bahá'í homes all over the country or at local Bahá'í Centres in the major cities and towns.
